"We are pleased that NV5 has become the go-to firm for structural inspections, reports, and repairs in Southern and Northern California."
"There has been a push in recent years by local agencies to retain greater control over the safety and maintenance of the publicly owned bridges and structures in their communities, and we have seen our business expand in Northern California as this has happened," said Bradley Waldrop, PE, Director of NV5's San Jose Infrastructure office.
Dave Schott, PE, SE, Project Manager for the majority of the contracts, added, "Nobody knows as much about structures as we do in the Bay Area. About Silicon Valley
The term Silicon Valley was widely adopted in the 1980s as a reference to the southern San Francisco Bay Area where many of the world's leading technology companies were founded and are headquartered today, including Google, Cisco Systems, Apple, and Facebook. The region is also home to thousands of high-tech startup companies, thought to account for more than one-third of all of the venture capital investment in the United States.
